21 April 2015, London: My email to Met police SO-15 counter terrorism unit

On my third (or fourth) call to the Metropolitan police counter terrorism hotline over three weeks, I am finally given an email address for Metropolitan police SO15 counter terrorism unit. I email them the YemPak company name, outline my 9/11 style attack conversations and send a photo of Yousef, my dinner companion in Yemen, on 25 September 1997. I again say YemPak was Saudi linked, as I did in my 9 February 2015 email, but admit now I have no evidence to support that aspersion.

There was no overt response to my email but a year later in March 2016 I found a facial recognition software match for Yousef’s photo. I checked it with three other computer programs and they all matched too, so I asked a police facial recognition expert. The four software matches were for Yousef were with Ramzi bin al Shibh, a Guantanamo detainee from Yemen accused of being ’the 20th hijacker’ and a key figure in 9/11’s preparations. Despite those 100% recognition matches, Yousef and Ramzi are not the same person, but the police facial recognition expert advised me that they are very likely brothers or cousins.

I have reported this possible identification widely but I’ve not been able to confirm that Yousef and Ramzi bin al Shibh are related or not.
