2015, June - Death of journalism

Private Eye magazine prints lies to protect the Ministry of Defence

Private Eye Opium Article 2 copy

The June 2015 edition of Private Eye magazine marks the death knell of whatever integrity the journal claimed to possess. The magazine was used by their defence correspondent Paul Vickers to execute a journalistic hatchet job on information passed to them by a British army whistleblower, me, Anthony C Heaford.

Private Eye magazine published lies in order to protect the Ministry of Defence from the consequences of their wilful complicity in the production of class A drugs, heroin, in Helmand, Afghanistan. The magazine, once an esteemed outlet for real journalism has completed its decent in to the land of tabloid journalism and comic book style reporting. Private Eye magazine and its editor Ian Hislop are little more than establisment tools.
