Britain's Third Opium War

Britain started its Third Opium War in October 2005, in Musa Qala, Helmand Province. This was at the behest of British politicians and maverick Generals sat in Downing Street. They sent special forces to raid the Helmand governors office, implicated him in drug trafficing and then sacked him. This both started and lost us the batlle for Helmand, and was the openning salvo in the on going Third Opium War, being fought from the fields of Afghanistan to a city near you.
